Fall Plantings
24 September 2008
Well sort of! Now is the time to pull out your garden catalogs or visit the local nursery to see all the bulbs that are available for spring planting. I shop early for good selection and refrigerate the bulbs for at least 6 weeks to simulate a cold winter. When planting, use a bone mill to provide calcium for the bulbs to grow and bring you a cheery spring bouquet!
