Add Interest to Your Patio Garden!

4 November 2009

walton web pix garden of the week

This back yard garden in historic downtown Long Beach use to be a boring back yard that wasted alot of water!

Now  a selection of grasses, perennials and succulents  in this ‘Smart’ back yard is much more interesting to view from the patio. Low volume spray heads and a ‘smart’ clock with a satelite monitor watering and help the garden  to thrive.

Various perennials such as lavenders, yarrow, flax, and Mexican feather grass are a few of the plants used amoung the decomposed granite. Low voltage lighting add another demention in the evening hours.
