Her garden is a reflection of her Tudor style cottage where her and her husband Ken spend time with their family and grandkids. Recently we redesigned and installed Joan’s HUGE back garden—areas for veggies, a pretty area for a clothesline –Every areas has a purpose, and is sustainable and also pretty!

 Joan needed a place to sit to admire the garden areas. . We came up with this low cost patio and repurposed some old bricks, steppings stones, and set it in pea gravel. The area is blocked out from the neighbors using Pittosporum ‘Sliver Sheen’ . We added a Meyer lemon and  a drip system waters the plants. The pattern just happened! meant to be a huge flower we think we make attact visitors of another kind! take a look at her whimsical patio

Our favorite part is the beautiful fountain that will soon be surrounded by creeping fig.

The raised planter double as a seating area for guests and the arbor with a gate contains the dogs when guest visit. Now Cathie says her heart sings when she spends time in her garden!

Hollyhocks galore..in my back yard. Good thing I planted early, I haven’t had time to work in my garden lately with the new office and such. Threw out some seeds and looked what happened. Of course I put in some good foundation perennials and roses too . Take a look/see at what is going on at Hummingbird Cottage this summer!

Tamy’s old garden was a water waster! A sixty style swimming pool that the family had out grown. We added several outdoor rooms to make every inch of the garden usable! Take a look at the newly planted garden
